|Do you take requests?|
No, sorry! No time!
Do you take art trades?
Almost never, sorry! Same reason!
Can I commission you?
Do you take points?
No, sorry! I don't have a use for them.
I want a different kind of commission than the ones you have listed. Will you do it?
Let's talk! The price will most likely be different from my listed prices according to the nature of your idea.
Can you crit my work?
I will always do my best to help people out, but sometimes notes like these go unanswered and I'm very sorry for that. I'm currently going through my unread notes and trying to get back to people. If you asked me for help with something and I never answered, feel free to send a new note.
Can you teach me to draw a pony/make a comic/draw a certain pose?
I'm not a great teacher, in my own personal opinion, and I don't think I should be teaching others how to do things, to be honest with you. I have some universal advice for all artists, and I guarantee if you do these things you'll improve!
1) Take a figure drawing class or go to open figure drawing sessions
2) Draw at least once every day
3) When you are just starting out, try to draw more from life than from your head. I know it's boring, but you'll improve faster!
This advice isn't super unique or special. Any artist will tell you to do the same. There are also a lot of really great resources online that might help you a lot! Look up the books of Andrew Loomis, which you can read in full online. Check out Mark Kennedy's amazing blog: [link] And look up the various storyboarding how-to's by Brad Bird.
Is Forty Winks a boy or a girl?
Girl. I know she looks boyish, so don't worry, you haven't offended her
Why do you draw their eyes like that?
Cause I want to, and my pony art is strictly for fun.
I hope that helps somewhat, and I think that's all of the most common stuff. So please let me know if I missed something. Thanks!
